John gives a short race report on his 10K over the weekend and why he feels the personal bests are coming with each event, but he also admits to not eating prior to racing. So there's that, too.

Both John and Rob listen to the Fatman Chronicles podcast with Pete and Gretchen and they discuss something Pete brought up in a recent episode about a diminished feeling while training at times. Our guys have an opinion on that also.

E69: The PHIT Act | Pre-Race Fueling for Nervous Stomachs | Protein & Blisters

John tried hard for a while but has to say something SLIGHTLY political this week, and no it's nothing you'll get angry about. The PHIT Act was reintroduced to congress in March and it is something as athletes everyone should be on board with. Write/Call your congressman and get this passed.

Talk about pre-race fueling and some methods to try out if you're someone that deals with a nervous stomach in the morning or pre-race. If this is an issue for you, what do you do?
