Rob is back from his adventure and we get to listen to how the ride went, some lessons learned, how great small town Americana can be, and how much REAL bike people rock. Shout outs to both Meghan Collins Fanning who is in Day 6 of the 888K Infinitus Trail Race, and to our old frond from Octane Athletics Dave Jimenez who is recovering from a nasty bike wreck.
John talks about some ways to make sure you are getting the best out of your training, and a few tips to make sure you stay on track.
Sometimes it takes a while, sometimes years, to discover something that was probably evident from the start. John talks about some recent revelations in his constant weight loss battle. Does it really mean anything, in the long run, is another discussion, but he may be on to something?
A discussion about Zone 2 training and dietbet is also in the show, and a random "The Office" memory near the end.
Now ... GO TRAIN!!!
So many magazines and resources for runner, triathletes, and cyclist, and Rob believes in one that still remains worth the money
Rob is back again with some inside information about getting your information to Dietbet, and he takes the initiative in getting some information out about our feelings on some recent feedback concerning show content.
Rob on maintenance and a return to the pool and triathlon for a few weeks
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. we had a slight snafu where after the show John lost the file by hitting the wrong button, and the back up on Rob's end only has me and Vinnie. So, when listening you may notice Vinnie or me responding to something where Rob would have been talking. I listened through and the overall gist of the show is still intact so, we apologize, but the show is still worth a listen.

SUGAR is one of the ongoing themes in this show through all the incarnations, and probably one of the most divisive regardless of what the current studies and science is showing. So let's break it down a bit. At my own peril.
Rob enters the Sprint fray with a short discussion about DietBet and the documentary "The Magic Pill". Plus, an appearance by the little guy on the run with Dad.
The discussion today is about Rob's Pittsburgh Marathon experience and we are joined by Super Fan and Group Mainstay Karen Clarke who also completed the same race with her husband and got to hang out with Rob before the race. Some great discussion on training, race strategy, and port-a-potties.
Also, as promised in Episode 118, Vinnie Tortorich announced his next project, the documentary "Fat". To support the project go to http://fatdocumentary.com and pledge some money, get your name in the film credits, and help get the truth out there.
