On this week's show, John and Rob discuss their specific training and how each is coming along in the timeline.
John then wonders aloud why there are books geared toward specific genders (i.e, "Running for Women") since gender plays no part in how he designs a training plan for his clients.
Ron might be switching his Pittsburgh race to one in Texas on the same weekend for the chance to run shoulders with Chip Gaines. Since this is the weekend after John's triathlon, he is pondering joining him there for the weekend. And if that is not enough of a teamE4E group racing meetup, John is going to join Rob in PA late June for the Dam Tri.
The show ends with a talk on the group being all-inclusive and welcoming, unlike other groups out there in Facebook land that is becoming increasingly condescending and, well, mean-spirited.

This week the show will focus on a couple of updates within the show's hosts; John's recent 25K Trail Race and Rob's first week of marathon training.
How did it go for each of them? Tune in to find out!
Then to completely confuse you, John starts explaining the meaning and use of vertical oscillation readings.
If you are not already a member of the group head on over to Facebook and check us out. If you have a chance please share the show with someone and leave us a review wherever you are listening to this.

Better late than never.
Recorded a little later this week than we normally do, and probably contributed to the discussion about music and recapturing the past that starts out the show. But never fear, we get back in line talking about getting sick due to training and ways to avoid it, and then end up talking about using spin classes as replacements for cycling workouts and what to do, and not to do, in order to get the most out of it.

If you are sick should you take some time off, or use the downtime in a more constructive manner? That's what kicks off the show this week. That topic dovetails into a continuation of the discussion about Goal Setting and using the S.M.A.R.T. method in planning. And what do you do in the off-season (unless you are like John and really have no "off-season")?
